Interitus {Destruction}

I sought power,
To conjure and devour,
New moves I made,
Found clues of jade,
To a new crusade!
And a flawless façade—
If only power would never fade.

I found a treasure,
One worth more than gold,
One that could never, ever get old.

So I went on to scour,
To conjure and devour,
In my thirst for power.

Now I acknowledge—
The power I seek,
That power is knowledge.
True power is knowledge.
